"Deadlands 2: Trapped is an entertaining ninety-minute zombie flick that doesn’t disappoint. Gary is able to
churn out something that looks damn near Hollywood quality for a budget that is under $6,000. Gary has
stepped up his game for Trapped, I highly recommend seeking out Deadlands 2: Trapped." Axlish DeadPit.

"Even though it has a micro-budget, Trapped feels big. Much of this has to do with the number of
different people you see in the film, the numerous locations Ugarek had access to, and some of
the shots in general show a talent that goes much further than of the point-and-shoot variety. I'm
eager to see more of this world that Ugarek has created for us." Steve "Alien Redrum" Pattee

" My absolute favorite part of Trapped is the music. It is eerily familiar and reeks of classic
80s films. Of course "reeks" here is used in a loving manner. I only wish more indie films
that try and make throwback films would recognize that music goes a long way. Hands
down Ugarek has the best score for any indie film I have seen. I really can't stress how
impressed I was with the music. The score was amazing and the DP pulled off some
fantastic shots. Hands down making Deadlands 2 much better than the first." Goon

"Deadlands 2: Trapped is similar in its success - only this time everything is ratcheted up
several notches, displaying in abundance Writer/Director (and a few other titles) Gary Ugarek's
dedication to improving on his craft as a filmmaker. Not to say Deadlands: The Rising was bad
(I've been a staunch pro-ponent of the flick), but Deadlands 2 is leaps and bounds beyond it.  Its
the central performances that shine. Jim "helicopter zombie" Krut brings the
suit-and-tie-menace in gleeful abundance as the diabolical biological project leader, and Durbin,
Davidson, Clark, Young and Brush all push their respective boats out."
